Loose Threads is a research company covering the rapidly changing consumer economy. We’re hiring a Freelance French Translator to help bring our research and insights to native French readers.

  • You will lead translation efforts for our French readers on a weekly basis, ensuring the nuance and precision from our insights is translated into French. We will provide finished articles in english and will look to you to translate them into french so they are ready to publish. 


  • You are a fluent and highly-technical English and French reader and writer
  • You are passionate about fashion, apparel, beauty cosmetics, CPG and hospitality and know the terminology in both English and French
  • You are deeply detail oriented, a good writer and a quick problem solver
  • You are skilled working with HTML, Wordpress and Mailchimp.
  • You are more passionate about quality than quantity
  • You have a designer’s eye for both function and aesthetics
