Loose Threads provides analysis and insights for the rapidly changing consumer economy. We’re hiring a freelance, part-time Infographic Designer. This person will work closely with the founding team to realize Loose Threads Membership and Espresso research in visual forms. This is an exciting opportunity to lend your voice, views and talents to a tight-knit, influential and quickly-growing startup.

Responsibilities

  • You will work with our research team to analyze and then visualize key data and insights
  • You will contribute to our research and suggest important places to create visuals  
  • You will help define the visual style and vocabulary of Loose Threads  

Requirements

  • You are a creative self-starter who loves to roll up your sleeves and get into the weeds
  • You are deeply detail-oriented, precise and a quick problem solver
  • You can translate complex data into accessible and digestible graphics
  • You are skilled working with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, Atlas (by Quartz) and other design tools
  • You are more passionate about quality than quantity
  • You bring a clean and minimal design style
