2019

  • Raises $110 million in Series C funding led by GV and Battery Ventures, reaching a $1 billion valuation.
  • Names Deena Bahri as its first-ever chief marketing officer.
  • Opens its fifth authentication center in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
  • Opens its first permanent store in the Soho neighborhood of New York City. 
  • Opens temporary “drop-off” centers in New York City, Los Angeles and London. The stores offer on-site authentication and payment processing.

  • Opens an authentication center in Tempe, AZ to process orders faster on the west coast.

2017

  • Launches the first annual “StockX Day” event in Detroit, inviting influencers and members of its community to meet the StockX team and see its operations.
  • Partners with rapper Eminem to raffle off his Air Jordan sneakers designed in collaboration with Carhartt to raise funds for the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. 
  • Partners with Nike to release 23 pairs of limited-edition LeBron James sneakers. Each pair sells for an average of $6,000.
  • Raises $6 million in Series A funding led by Detroit Venture Partners.
