Building a menswear line is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. The level of knowledge and focus is always expanding and there’s never a second to rest. I started this blog a year into the process. From day one, we were lucky enough to be around a very supportive and knowledgeable group of people. Even so, there’s no resource on how to build a fashion company in the real world. There are books and talks and articles, but they often don’t focus on the real issues and things that are super important to know going in and along the way.

Hopefully this fills some of the void. I’m starting this for a common reason: it’s something I wish I had along the way. I’ll be posting often about a wide range of topics, from production to design to marketing to ecommerce.

In January of 2016, we formally shut down our menswear line. Even so, I’m continuing to write about both that process and fashion and ecommerce more broadly. I learned an immense amount and want to share all that I can.
